Janne Tapio visar stolt upp den nysate versionen av Lynx Rave RC 440

Den nya versionen av Lynx Rave RC 440 visades för första gången för en nyfiken skara på snöskoter och ATV-utställningen i Jyväskylä, Finland.
Snöskoter och ATV-utställningen i Jyväskylä, Finland ägde rum den 15-16 oktober.
Presentatör var Janne Tapio som är tvåfaldig världsmästare i snöskotercross. Numera arbetar Janne Tapio som projektledare på Rave RC 440´s utvecklingssida och har varit den styrande kraften bakom Lynx nya racer.

Suspension:
– totally new Pauli Piippola Suspension slide rail system better rideability in snowcross
track, because of longer suspension travel and better geometry and bigger traction area for
the track

Vässad framvagn
|
– rear suspension vertical travel 320mm, maximum 390mm
– KYB gas shocks in slide rail system with H/L compression and rebound adjusters and also
with fixed reservoir more reliable function and perfect external adjustability.
– renewed front suspension geometry more stable in bumps and jumps
– front suspension travel 260mm
Frame:
– renewed steering system allows rider to move 20cm forward and 2 position for steering
column easier rideability on snowcross track and adjustability for different riding styles
– new lower A-arms significantly better rideability on snowcross track
– reinforced front frame and front suspension with 10.9 strength bolts more reliable
function
– reinforced footboards and rear tunnel more rigid design and better grip for the boot
– new sway bar system lighter structure
– induction hardened spindles stronger structure
Engine:
– improved powerpack more power and better acceleration
– special exhaust pipe coating better acceleration and lighter
– exhaust pipe and air intake temperature sensors better acceleration and more stable
performance during the race
– powerjet function in carburetors better throttle response, acceleration and more stable
performance during the race
– intake air directly from outside more stable performance during the race
– renewed ignition system with exhaust preheat system better performance on startline
Driveline:
– new lighter TEAM TSS-04 II –variator lighter and better acceleration
– new drivebelt better acceleration
– 13 wide chain with narrow upper sprocket and TEAM –slipgear lighter design and better
acceleration
Other:
– combined hood / rear console structure made of polyethen lighter and stronger design
allows easier serviceability
– reshaped side panels made of polyethen lighter and stronger design allows more room for
the knees when cornering
– lighter plastic rear console, front bumper, seat bottom parts lighter overall weight
– new 20 liter fuel tank lighter design and more room to move
– SLP Powder Pro skis better grip in soft corners
– J-hooks in handlebar in both sides easier rideability in corners
– Harder seat foam better riding position
– Weight, 214kg (race ready, without fuel) 6kg less than previous year model
