Iisko-Matti Näkkäläjärvi, Finland kommer att åka Polaris nästa säsong. Iisko och Brandt Polaris har skrivit kontrakt som avslutar ett tioårigt sammarbete med BRP/Lynx. Andra medlemmar av Polaris teamet i Finland är Hannu Toppala och Miika Peteri.

Iisko-Matti Näkkäläjärvi will ride Polaris next season. Iisko and Brandt Polaris have signed a contract for Iisko to join Team Brandt Polaris 2007, ending ten year cooperation with Lynx/BRP. The other members of the Polaris ScoCross Team in Finland are Hannu Toppala ja Miika Peteri.

Iisko will drive Polaris IQ440- and Polaris IQ600 Open snowmobiles and compete in Snowcross Pro Open and Pro Stock classes in 2007. (Pro Stock is the former Racing 440 class and Pro Open the open class, max 600 cc.) In addition to the Finnish Championship series, Iisko will race for the World Championship title next season. He will also compete in Nordic and European championships depending on schedules.

- Next season will be really interesting: new brand, new sled and new challenges, Iisko comments.

- My aim is make Polaris suitable for myself already early next winter.
Season
2006 unfortunately ended already in March because of an arm injury so I am really looking forward to being able to race fast again. Expectations for the coming season are naturally high, now that I am part of the top team of Polaris, Iisko sums up.

Iisko-Matti Näkkäläjärvi has ten year's experience in Snowcross arenas around Nordic countries. He is a triple Nordic Championship Medallist and four-time Finnish Championship Medallist in Snowcross. In 2002 Iisko won the Nordic championship and in 2005 he achieved bronze in both Racing 500 and Pro 800 classes in the Finnish championships.
